A Warm Welcome in Riano (March 9–14)
Our Erasmus+ mobility group has officially begun their Italian adventure! Teachers Nuria Morcillo Pastor and Olga Rueda Varea, accompanied by 11 students, landed in Italy for what promises to be an unforgettable week.
The staff at the host school in Riano — including the headteacher, coordinator, Spanish teacher and Maths teacher — came all the way to the airport to welcome them. A truly heartwarming reception from the very first moment!
The day continued with lunch at the school’s Mensa (the Italian canteen) and a guided tour of the school facilities — a great way to start feeling at home in a new educational environment. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the long-awaited meeting with the host families.
Tomorrow, the group will discover what daily life and studying in an Italian secondary school is really like. Stay tuned!
