Desde el 28 de enero al 03 de febrero, 47 alumnos y alumnas del IES Antonio de Mendoza de Alcalá la Real, acompañados de los docentes:  Mª Victoria Chica Torres, Antonia García González, Felipe Juan Serrano Sánchez y Jesús Chica Castillo han participado en una estancia de inmersión lingüística en la encantadora ciudad de Broadstairs en Inglaterra en régimen de alojamiento en familias, fomentando así no sólo el uso de la lengua inglesa en un contexto comunicativo real, sino también el intercambio cultural.

Están asistiendo a un curso de lengua inglesa en KSE, Kent School of English en horario de mañana. Además hay que sumarle diversas visitas guiadas en lengua inglesa a la capital del país, City-centre guided walk finishing at Covent Garden, a visit to Canterbury, a disco night, a drama workshop, a leisurely coastal walk to Ramsgate (3km), a Barn dance and many more exciting activities. Todas estas actividades  permitían el uso de la lengua inglesa de forma lúdica.

From January 15th to 21st, 41 of our students together with four teachers are enjoying an unforgettable experience in the lovely English city of Broadstairs.

They are having a fantastic opportunity to study English, meeting new friends and seeing some of England’s most beautiful sights by joining an exciting, fun-packed programme in KSE, Kent School of England. They are learning about another culture through its language. We truly believe that this experience is really motivating  and promotes cross-cultural learning.
