Desde el 15 al 21 de Enero, 41 alumnos y alumnas del IES Antonio de Mendoza en Alcalá la Real, acompañados de las profesoras Ascensión Rabaneda Jiménez, Mª Victoria Chica Torres y Antonia García González han participado en una estancia de inmersión lingüística en la preciosa ciudad de Bray en Irlanda en régimen de alojamiento en familias, fomentando así no sólo el uso de la lengua inglesa en un contexto comunicativo real, sino también el intercambio cultural.
Han asistido a un curso de lengua inglesa en ACT Language School en Bray en horario de mañana. Además hay que sumarle diversas visitas guiadas en lengua inglesa a la capital del país, Walking Tour of Dublin with ATC guide, Kiliney Hill, Archaeology Museum in Dublin, Dalkey & Dun Laoghaire, Dublin Sightseeing tour, Bowling, Irish Night, Savoy Cinema, Irish Dancing and Laser Tag. Todas estas actividades permitían el uso de la lengua inglesa de forma lúdica.

From January 15th to 21st, 41 of our students together with three teachers have enjoyed an unforgettable experience in the lovely Irish city of Bray.
They had a fantastic opportunity to study English, meet new friends and see some of Ireland’s most beautiful sights by joining an exciting, fun-packed programme in ACT Language School en Bray. They could learn about another culture through its language. We truly believe that this experience was really motivating and promotes cross-cultural learning.
Our students are preparing their Travel Diaries that will be presented during our next Bilingual Fair in May. In addition to this we will be uploading some videos and pics to the padlet they have created.
